Background Investigations

Executive, Board of Directors and Advisor Background Screening

Executives, directors and business advisors require more stringent vetting than most employees as they are responsible for providing guidance to management or leading the day-to-day operations of a business. To ensure these administrators have the highest standards, Durkin Group works with clients to perform comprehensive investigations to verify their credibility, reputation, and integrity.

Employee Background Screening

An effective employment screening program facilitates informed decisions and a successful hiring process. Durkin Group customizes background screening to each client’s requirements.

Employee background and screening services include:

Durkin Group’s domestic and international employment screening includes searches of county criminal records databases, state criminal records databases and federal district and jurisdiction databases. Additional databases are searched including the Department of Corrections, Administration of the Court, State Sex Offender Registry, Terrorist Watch Lists and the Office of Inspector General. On-site courthouse research can also be performed, where appropriate.

Employment screening services are necessary to maintain workforce safety, and to facilitate hiring and retention of top talent. Checking the accuracy of information supplied by potential employees at all levels in the corporate structure is essential in the hiring process. It is not possible to determine integrity, reliability and work ethic through the interview process, but an individual’s past performance can be discovered through a comprehensive look into the potential employee’s past behaviors.
