Durkin Group was engaged by a global bank to draft and instruct a financial accounting training course for a group of management trainees. The trainees would eventually go on to financial analysis, underwriting and account management positions.  The extensive, four week training course started with basic accounting terms, concepts and principals and culminated in the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements, ratios and opinion letters. Included in the curriculum was an overview of fundamental accounting concepts, preparing and analyzing balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flow, computing and interpreting financial ratios, and fundamental lending and underwriting concepts. Durkin Group provided all training materials and instructors at the bank’s facilities, minimizing cost for the client and maximizing convenience.
