Durkin Group performed internal and external penetration testing of the network of a major New York City based magazine publisher. Although the client had some security measures in place—firewalls, virtual private networks, encryption—our team was able to gain access and could have controlled most of the machines on the clients network—servers, routers, printers, and desktop computers. Our report documented the penetration testing, the compromised data, and included a complete and comprehensive remediation strategy.
